Overview
Every report prepared by MyTrueMatch involves the significant time and expertise of a qualified professional - a psychologist, a background verification specialist, or a senior Jyotish astrologer. Payment is collected before work begins, and our experts are compensated regardless of the outcome of the alliance.
This policy explains precisely when a refund is available, when it is not, and what you can expect if you raise a concern about your report. We have designed it to be fair to both our clients and our expert panel.
Eligible Refund Scenarios
You may be eligible for a full or partial refund in the following circumstances:
- Your report was not delivered within the stated delivery window and you have not received an explanation or revised timeline from us.
- The report you received is materially incomplete - for example, a Compatibility report that omits one or more of the ten stated dimensions entirely.
- A Verification report contains a factual error that can be demonstrated through documentary evidence (e.g. the report states an incorrect employer when a valid employment certificate is provided).
- You placed a duplicate order in error and neither report has been commenced.
- Work has not yet begun on your report and you cancel within 24 hours of placing the order.
In all eligible cases, refund requests must be submitted within 7 days of report delivery (or 7 days of the expected delivery date if the report was not delivered).
Non-Refundable Cases
We are unable to offer refunds in the following circumstances:
- Report not delivered on time
- Report materially incomplete
- Verified factual error with evidence
- Duplicate order, work not begun
- Cancelled within 24 hrs of order
- Dissatisfaction with outcome of alliance
- Disagreement with expert's opinion
- Report delivered but unused
- Change of mind after work begins
- Concerns raised after 7-day window
- Horoscope findings considered unfavourable
We want to be direct: a Horoscope report that reveals unfavourable planetary positions, or a Compatibility report that identifies significant differences between two people, is not a defective report. Expert findings that are unwelcome are not grounds for a refund.
How to Request a Refund
To initiate a refund request, please follow these steps:
Refund Timeline
Once a refund is approved:
- Credit/debit card refunds are processed within 5-7 business days. Your bank may take a further 2-5 days to reflect the amount.
- UPI and net banking refunds are typically processed within 3-5 business days.
- We will send a confirmation email once the refund has been initiated from our end.
Partial refunds
Where a report is partially incomplete or requires significant revision, we may offer a partial refund rather than a full refund, at our discretion. We will always discuss this with you before making a decision.
Report Revisions
In many cases where a client is dissatisfied with a report, a revision or follow-up call with the expert resolves the concern more effectively than a refund. We encourage you to consider this option first.
- All Two Lens and Three Lens bundles include a 30 or 60-minute expert Q&A call that can be used to address concerns.
- If you believe a section of your report is unclear or insufficiently detailed, you may request futher explanation by sending an email to contact@mytruematch.in .
- Revision requests must also be submitted within 7 days of report delivery.
Cancellation Policy
Orders may be cancelled under the following conditions:
- Within 24 hours of placing an order:
- After work has commenced: No refund is available once your expert has begun preparing the report.
- Verification reports: Once consent documentation has been collected and verification activities have begun, cancellation is not possible.
If you need to pause or defer a report (e.g. the alliance is on hold), please contact us. We will endeavour to accommodate reasonable requests to hold work temporarily, at our discretion.
